The 18th century, Grade II listed Star Brewery was established as a creative centre for arts and crafts back in 1989 and is now owned and operated by Gillian Harwood (Lewes Workspace Ltd).
Close by, also forming part of the Lewes Workspace Group, is the Needlemakers, another converted historic landmark and fascinating retail outlet for artisan suppliers and individual specialist shops. Above this is the Candlemakers, office spaces used by many small local businesses.
Each of these buildings enjoys a strong sense of community, enhanced by the services and support available through the group’s network of people.
